La Joie de Vivre

**La Joie de Vivre= The Joy of Living**
On a bien profité pendant notre séjour.
Hello to everyone! Yes, it's true. My roommate (from last year) and I went to France to see our friends from last year again. It's went very well, but it's true that it's colder there than in Portugal!! I really enjoyed learning how to make real French fries, and also crêpes. We really took advantage of our time during our stay. So, where are you all going to have vacation this year?

Portugal is absolutely beautiful, in particular during this time- the almond trees are full of flowers!!! In the background of this photo, you can see a farm on the hill. It's very typical of this region. I went there by coach bus, and when I arrived there was a festival in the city! So, I did a little walk and I ate some ice cream. It was around 70 degrees fahrenheit, oh wow!! I didn't need to wear a coat. It was awesome. I work six days a week now, so it did me good to leave this past Sunday to relax for a little while. I like to teach here, but it's true that I miss my students in the U.S.!! I'm going to return to France for a little while at the end of the month to see my friends again, so, there will certainly be more photos!
